§ 9-49. Election officials.

(1)

Appointment: The following election officials shall be appointed by the mayor and board of aldermen and shall receive such compensation as is provided by same:

(a)

Municipal election superintendent.

(b)

Chief manager.

(c)

Two (2) assistant managers.

(d)

Clerks, as necessary.

(2)

Qualifications and powers: The municipal election superintendent and all poll officers shall meet such qualifications and exercise all such powers and duties as are provided in Title 34A of the Georgia Code Annotated.
