§ 6-132. Permit fees.

[Permit fees for work performed under this article shall be as follows:]

For issuing each permit ..... $10.00

(a)

Residential. Electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning values shall be based on one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per square foot. Permit cost shall be determined on two (2) per cent of the total value.

(b)

Commercial. Electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning permit fees shall be based on per centages, as follows:

(1)

Up to one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00), the total permit fee shall be based on two (2) per cent of the total cost.

(2)

More than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) but not exceeding five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00), the total permit fee shall be based on one and three-fourths (1¾) per cent of the total cost.

More than five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) but not exceeding one million dollars ($1,000,000.00), the total permit fee shall be based on one and one-half (1½) per cent of the total cost.

More than one million dollars ($1,000,000.00), the total permit fee shall be based on one (1) per cent of the total cost.
