§ 5-3. Dog control officer; appointment; compensation.

The mayor and city council shall appoint and designate a dog control officer who shall serve at the pleasure of the mayor and city council. The dog control officer's compensation shall be established from time to time by the governing authority. Services for a dog control officer may also be contracted for with the Laurens County Board of Commissioners.
