A fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be charged to water customers only for non-pay
cut-off and a fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be charged for cut-on of services
during normal working hours of the meter department. A fee of eighty dollars ($80.00)
shall be charged for cut-on and/or cut-off after normal working hours of the meter
department on weekdays and on weekends and city holidays. If a customer's bill for
services is not paid when due and is disconnected by the city meter department for
such failure to pay, then the customer must pay the cut-off fee and the cut-on fee,
in addition to the amount of the past due bill, before being reconnected. A processing
fee of forty dollars ($40.00) shall be charged to customers who pay delinquent utility
bills after being processed for cut-off, but before city personnel has been dispatched
to interrupt service.
