§ 24-37. Service charge for meters and meter taps.

(a)

All water meter taps shall be made and installed on the basis of a nonrefundable service charge, which shall be determined by the city manager. A schedule of these charges shall be made available upon request.

(b)

In the event it is necessary to cut the street pavement in order to make a water tap, a charge in addition to those named in subsection (a) will be made for the purpose repairing the pavement, on a cost plus basis as established by the city manager.
