§ 24-1. Definition.

For the purposes of this article, the following words, terms and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them below:

City manager shall mean the City Manager of the City of Dublin and those to whom he delegates authority.

Building inspector shall include the building superintendent, his designee or other persons assigned by the city manager to perform the required task.

Private sewage disposal system is any system designed for the private disposal of sewage to be maintained by an individual, and includes, but is not limited to, septic tanks, cesspools, holding tanks for waste, chemical toilets, impervious vault toilets and portable toilets.

State shall mean the State of Georgia and shall include, but not be limited to, the executive regulatory divisions thereof, such as the Environmental Protection Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, and any and all laws and regulations promulgated.

Utility shall be construed to mean and include water, sewer, gas and/or any other utility service furnished by the city to consumers thereof.
